Every year, an estimated 13,800 students leave college within reach of a STEM degree because financial barriers stand in their way. The Forever Fund is the first step toward building Last Mile’s endowment: a lasting promise that generations of students will have the support to finish what they started and shape what comes next.

The Forever Fund is Last Mile’s first step toward building an endowment: a permanent source of support that reaches beyond any single year’s fundraising. It begins with our own story coming full circle, as alumni build careers and invest in the students following in their footsteps.
Through modest monthly gifts, employed alumni can turn the support they once received into opportunity for someone else. Founding donors will match those gifts dollar for dollar during the first year, multiplying their impact and bringing a lasting promise to life: each generation can open the door for the next.

We’re raising a $200,000 founding match pool to launch the Forever Fund. Founding donors will match alumni gifts dollar for dollar during the first year, doubling each contribution. Eligible employer matches can make those gifts go even further.
