What You Need To Know
A simple guide to submitting your Invoices
To review your application as efficiently as possible, we may need specific invoices that match the type of support you’re requesting. Submitting the right documents the first time keeps your application moving and helps us support more students just like you. Please upload only the documents we request—additional files may slow your review.
What Counts as an Acceptable Invoice
The invoice you’ll need depends on what you are requesting funding for. During your interview, we will let you know exactly which document we need.
Important Note About Ineligible Expenses
Ineligible expenses will not be approved
We are not able to pay:
Credit cards
Loans
Reimbursements
All invoices must clearly show:
The expense is in your name
What the expense is for
The due date
The amount owed
All required information must appear on the same page for us to accept the document and keep your review on track.
If You Can’t Find the Right Invoice
It’s common for students to discover their invoice is outdated or missing details.
In that case, you may need to:
Download an updated invoice from your student portal
Request a new billing statement from your school or vendor
Ask the financial services or bursar’s office for a current version
Schools issue updated invoices regularly and can usually provide one quickly.
Common Issues to Avoid
Ensuring your invoice has full details helps us review your request without delays.
The most frequent problems we see include:
A screenshot of just a dollar amount with no identifying information
Old tuition invoices, especially those issued more than a month ago. We need your most recent tuition statement
Checklist
Before you upload, make sure your document is clear and readable and has:
Your Full Name
We need to see your full name on the document to confirm it belongs to you.
Expense | Amount | Date
Specify what the expense is for, how much is owed, and when it’s due
All On The Same Page
All required information needs to be on the same page so we can approve the document.
