The availability of scholarships helps them afford college, and helps motivate them to pursue a major and career where funders see such a need for workers that they're paying to support education!

The support I received from the program changed my life completely, as I was able to continue pursuing my dreams of preparing academically to become a Cybersecurity Professional. Dow Last Mile Fund for Manufacturing & Skilled Trades
The Dow program really helped me not focus on the bills and the stress and stuff like that, and focus just on school. The time that this scholarship opened was perfect timing because I had just gotten into a car wreck and my car was totaled so I applied for a scholarship and was awarded the funds. It really helped me pay for school at a time when I really couldn't afford it, and helped me get back and forth to work, and helped me afford groceries, bills. And I could focus on school. I'm really appreciative, and I do want to thank you many times. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't get the scholarship. and I'm so happy I can continue to expand my knowledge in the instrumentation field and continue to move forward. Thanks again!
