Isabella Tea
System Analyst
Isabella Tea is a software engineer and educator with over a decade of experience building technical systems that power education programs. She has worked across top tech companies, nonprofits, government, and higher education, building pathways into tech for students from underrepresented backgrounds and making tech more approachable for people who don't see themselves as technologists (yet!).
She has led technical teams at the U.S. Department of Education and Salesforce, worked as a software engineer at Microsoft R&D, and taught programs at Google, Girls Who Code, Hack Reactor, and Galvanize.
Isabella holds a BA in Economics from UC San Diego and an MA in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She codes in several languages, but somehow centering a div is still her white whale. She lives in Los Angeles with her family and their three dogs, Ellie, Zola, and Pichu, who supervise her work in between their naps.
